Crystal clear image and essential tools to get your frame
The Shogun Inferno from Atomos does double duty as a professional monitor with a crystal clear image and all the tools you need to set up your shot, as well as a fully capable external recorder to capture in the highest fidelity and most flexible formats, including ProRes RAW and CinemaDNG.
The Shogun Inferno shines as a monitor with its 1500 nit brightness ensuring you don't miss a thing, even on bright exteriors. The 7" 1920x1200 HDR touchscreen display gives you all the tools you'll need, including peaking, false colour, scopes, anamorphic desqueeze, movable magnification, and support for 3D custom LUTS. With an HDMI input and output, 4 SDI inputs and 1 output, you're set to assemble a multi-device system with seamless loop-out and cross-conversion.
As a recorder, the Shogun Inferno has got you covered with ProRes and DNxHR codecs in up to 10 bit 4:2:2 4Kp60 or 2Kp240 depending on the capabilities of your camera. With a compatible camera (Sony FS series, Canon C300MKII/C500, Panasonic EVA-1/Varicam LT), you can even record in ProRes RAW up to 5.7kp30, 4kp120, and 2kp240 and in CinemaDNG up to 4kp30. The two included Angelbird 500GB SSDs will be able to keep up with whatever your needs are. You can even plug in multiple channels of audio in with phantom power via the balanced breakout XLR cable.
