WE're here to make the renting process as ACCESSIBLE as possible!
- Send us a rental request at info@bayfilmequipment.com or fill out one of the contact forms found on our website! Be sure to include the item(s) you want to rent and the dates you wish to pick-up and drop-off.
- We will respond to confirm the availability of the equipment, the total cost, and pick-up/drop-off appointments. We will also include a copy of the rental agreement for you to look over, to be signed on the day of pick-up.
- Our pick-up window is 5pm-8pm and our drop-off window is 9am-12pm. Pick-ups and drop-offs are by appointment only and must be made when confirming your reservation.
- When picking up your equipment, you must provide government issued photo ID and a valid credit card, copies of which will kept for our records. You must also provide a certificate of property insurance for at least the replacement value of the equipment, as well as liability insurance which names Bay Film and Equipment as the loss payee or additional insured, with the person signing the rental agreement listed as the Named Insured. If getting short term shoot insurance is new to you we recommend purchasing it from Front Row Insurance or GearPolicy. We will provide the necessary details in our initial response e-mail.
- If total replacement value of your rental is less than $3000 and the rental is less than 5 days, including pick-up and drop-off days, a credit card deposit may be accepted in lieu of certificate of insurance, to be approved on a case-by-case basis. Your credit card will be charged the full replacement value of the rental at the time of pick-up, then refunded upon a successful return. Funds may take up to 4-14 days to be received after the refund is initiated.
- Payment is made at the time of pick-up before the equipment is released. We accept cash, credit, and debit.
