Cine zooms can be hard to come by, much less with the kind of range and character that this outstanding entry from Laowa boasts. The 25mm to 100mm focal length range means this lens has you covered for wide shots, long shots, and all the crash zooms and zollies in between. With Super35 coverage and either a PL, EF, or E mount, you have the freedom to pair an enormous range of cine, mirrorless, or DSLR camera bodies with the beautiful vintage-inspired look and superior functionality of the OOOM.
This zoom is parfocal with minimal focus breathing, and the standard 0.8 MOD/32 Pitch gear teeth on each of the focus, iris, and zoom rings make for smooth adjustments, all while the constant maximum aperture of T/2.9 ensures you've got enough light through the whole range of focal lengths.
*While this lens does have interchangeable mounts, the process to change it involves exposing the rear element and carries a higher risk of scratching or damaging the glass or other internals of the lens. Due to this risk, we ask that you specify which mount you will be using so it can be installed before your pickup. As the process for adjusting the parfocality of the lens also carries increased risk of damaging the rear element, we ask that it's performed by someone who is trained and knowledgeable to avoid any damage, for which the lessee will be liable for should it occur.*
