A Classic Look Modernized
Revive a unique look from another era with these vintage lenses that have been meticulously rehoused and designed by IronGlass. The character rich glass has been extracted from the original lenses and fitted into new, robust bodies with all the features of a cine lens set. Manual focus and aperture rings with standard size teeth and consistent spacing, uniform body sizing, and the strong PL mount allow these lenses to easily slip into the workflow of a fast paced set.
The consistent gear placement and filter size (92mm filter thread, 95mm OD) means no wasted time readjusting accessories or matte boxes when swapping lenses, and the expanded focus throws means more precise control of your focal points. Many have sought after the unique character and looks achieved with vintage lenses to set themselves apart from the cold, neutral feel of modern optics; this set achieves the look without compromising functionality.
These lenses provide Full Frame coverage and include a PL lens to EF mount adapter; however, as this is typically a difficult if not impossible adaptation to make, the flange distance of your camera (or to the mirror for a DSLR) must be less than 13.9mm.
